Poor guy

The toddler woke up coughing really hard this morning, and was in a miserable mood, so I knew something wasn't right. His pediatricians have a walk-in sick hour first thing in the morning, so Daddy took him in to get checked. He has an ear infection, but no fever. He got to stay out of school today with Gam Mom. They went to the sliding boards in the tot lot, then went to get Pop Pop at PopPop's school. They ate lunch at Friendly's -- he got a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone before anything else! Mom said the waitress didn't charge for his food because he was so polite and well behaved.

She taught him to chase away monsters by saying "Abracadabra! Monsters go away! Whoom! All gone!" He likes trying to say abracadabra.

Last night he was calling me "Mrs. Mommy" and his father "Mr. Daddy". Gam Mom was "Mrs. GamMom" and PopPop was "Mr. PopPop". He also informed me that he is "a mans" and that "[he] do what a mans do's" It was pretty funny.

When you do lunch with Gam Mom - dessert is ALWAYS first! What an example I set for my little kiddies.
A was very polite and thanked the waitress each time she brought him something - and when the check arrived, I questioned that his meal wasn't on it. She said that they were not charging because he had behaved so good and his good manners.
