45 minute afternoon naps result in meltdowns no later than 6:30pm. Its probably better to just keep driving than to park in the garage and hope he stays asleep, or even worse, try to move him when you don't have the Bear or the Blanket because they are in Daddy's car.
Just an idea, no pressure...
But otherwise a good day. The young Master visited Grandmom and PopPop today. They came to the house first thing this morning. When I told him who was coming, he ran to the door calling out "Mommom!" They took him to see Dorothy (and her little dog too!) The young Master was afraid of Dorothy, perhaps because her house was dark, and did not want to go any further than the porch. After a short visit, Grandmom and PopPop took the young Master back to their house, where he played with his new friend, Olie the Cat. Olie is a "nice" cat; he doesn't run away in terror and hiss loudly like some old lady cats I know and live with, he allows himself to be petted by eager toddlers, and he is all about getting the treats, no matter who is handing them out. The young Master was thrilled silly to finally be around a nice cat. Later on today, he was asked about Olie and he ran to the door crying "Ol-eee! Oll-eee!"
After visiting with the grandparents, he went to a picnic with some of his Daddy's work friends, who all admired him greatly. Mommy ate a delicious home-made biscuit, and a bite of brownie, and a bite of a chocolate chip peanut butter bar. Mommy misses biscuits, and brownies, and delivery pizza...
